What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on or read from your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, including pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage, and device identifiers, may perform related functions. These technologies can keep the site operating, remember preferences, measure use, protect against abuse, and support advertising. In this policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

Scope of This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains the categories of cookies and related technologies used on MagDI Guide, why they are used, the organizations that may receive information through them, and how you can control optional technologies. The live consent-preference center and the most recent cookie scan are the authoritative inventory of specific cookie names, providers, and expiration periods.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary technologies support page delivery, security, load balancing, consent-preference storage, form submission, fraud prevention, and accessibility functions. These are primarily first-party technologies, although GoDaddy and the selected consent-management provider may process limited technical data on Cyntar S.C.’s behalf. They remain active because the site cannot operate reliably without them. Depending on function, they last for the browser session or for up to 12 months.

Analytics Cookies

MagDI Guide uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity only after the visitor grants analytics consent when consent is required. Google Analytics uses first-party _ga and _ga_<property-id> cookies to distinguish users and preserve session state; their default lifespan is up to two years, although browser controls may shorten it. Microsoft Clarity may use first-party and third-party identifiers to connect page views and generate behavioral analytics. Clarity playback data is generally retained for 30 days, while selected recordings and aggregated interaction data may be retained for up to nine months. All form fields and chat interfaces must be masked, and Clarity must be disabled on privacy-request pages. Cyntar S.C. does not intentionally send names, contact details, form contents, chat text, or health information to either analytics provider.

Advertising Cookies

MagDI Guide uses Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure Cyntar S.C.’s own external advertising campaigns and, when permitted, to create advertising audiences. Google Tag Manager may deploy these technologies but is not itself a separate advertising purpose. Google _gcl_ advertising-measurement cookies generally last up to 90 days. Meta _fbp and _fbc cookies generally last up to 90 days. Advertising technologies remain disabled until the required advertising consent or other legally valid permission has been obtained. MagDI Guide does not display third-party advertising, accept paid manufacturer promotions, sell leads, or intentionally transmit contact information, medical conditions, general-question text, or other sensitive information to advertising platforms.

Functional and Personalization Cookies

Functional technologies remember optional choices such as language, interface settings, or non-essential form progress. They may be first party or provided through Bitrix24 or another embedded feature. They generally last for the browser session or for up to 12 months. Refusing them will not prevent access to the site’s core educational content, although some preferences may not be remembered.

Third-Party Providers

GoDaddy hosts the website and may process necessary server, security, and network information. Google provides Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager. Meta Platforms provides Meta Pixel. Microsoft provides Clarity. Bitrix24 provides the CRM, AI chat, and manually operated email, SMS, WhatsApp, and telephone workflow used by authorized Cyntar personnel. Provider functionality and retention can change; the live preference center and production cookie scan should therefore be reviewed whenever the site’s integrations change.

When optional technologies require consent, you can accept all, reject non-essential technologies, or make category-by-category choices through the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time by visiting Consent Preferences or selecting “Privacy Choices” in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before the change.

What Happens When You Reject Optional Cookies

The site’s essential educational pages and core forms should continue to function when analytics, advertising, or personalization technologies are rejected. We may receive less complete information about site performance and campaign effectiveness, and some optional settings or embedded features may not persist.

Browser-Level Controls

Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or limit cookies through browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect necessary site functions. General browser-control information is available from All About Cookies. Browser settings operate separately from the choices stored in our consent-preference center.

Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not a universally implemented technical and legal standard for interpreting every Do Not Track signal, MagDI Guide does not currently respond to Do Not Track alone. We will update this statement if a generally accepted standard becomes applicable.

Global Privacy Control and Opt-Out Preference Signals

Where applicable law requires recognition of Global Privacy Control or another legally valid opt-out preference signal, MagDI Guide will treat the signal as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending it. We will also attempt to honor such signals more broadly where technically feasible. A browser-level signal may not identify choices made on another browser or device.

The cookie inventory must be generated from a production-domain scan after all integrations are installed and again after material changes. The inventory should identify the cookie or technology name, provider, purpose, category, first- or third-party status, and maximum duration. Cyntar S.C. should review the inventory at least quarterly and whenever a new analytics, advertising, chat, video, form, or embedded service is introduced.
